The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a woman believed to be involved in a carjacking at Centennial Walmart.
The sheriff’s office shared a photo of the woman on social media the day after the Jan. 2 incident, after she appeared to leave the crime scene with an armed carjacking suspect.
Police say an armed man forced a woman out of her silver Honda Civic in a Walmart parking lot and stole the car. As he drove away, a customer pulled out a gun and fired shots at the car. The suspect drove off, then picked up a woman who deputies were searching for.

According to the photo, she seems to have dyed her hair a bright color and has a tattoo on her chest. In her image, she was wearing a red long-sleeved crop top with straps.
Authorities in Arapahoe County, Colorado, described the male suspect, who is still at large, as a man with a stocky build. He is accused of pointing a gun at a woman in a Civic in a parking lot near the Walmart Automotive Center on Briarwood Avenue.
“During this incident, a customer in the area learned what was going on and went to help,” said Deputy John Bartman, public information officer for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Baartman said his client fired two shots into the car, hitting the passenger door of the victim’s car, but the suspect drove away. Bartman said his client had a concealed weapons permit.
He said officers believe the car was just hit and not the suspect. Baartman added that it appears no one who was at the Walmart was harmed.
After the carjacking, a woman got into the passenger seat of the stolen vehicle with the suspect. Deputies believe the two were together.
The sheriff’s office asked anyone who recognizes the woman to call the tip line at (720) 874-8477.
