When you’re working in one Google app (for example, Gmail), there’s a menu near the top-right corner that you can click to choose from other available Google apps. Clicking on any entry will open that app in a new tab.
By default, the apps in that menu are Calendar, Drive, Play, Gmail, Search, YouTube, Maps, Photos, News, Meet, Duo, My Ad Center, and Chrome (some variations may occur).

I don’t know about you, but that list doesn’t apply to me. For example, I never use Ad Center, Meet, or Duo from my desktop. At the same time, if you scroll down the menu, you will find entries such as Documents, Contacts, Keep, Arts & Culture, etc. These are all things I use regularly.
Fortunately, rearranging these entries in the menu is very easy. You can delete entries you don’t use and add entries you do want. You can also just have basic menus like Calendar, Drive, and Gmail. The only thing you can’t do is add third-party (non-Google) apps.
Let me explain how it is done. please do not worry. It’s so easy that anyone can manage this task.
How to change the Google Apps menu
Things necessary: All you need for this is a valid Google account and a web browser (as you can’t do this from a mobile device).
Open your default web browser and make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account. This menu is accessible from all major Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, etc.), so it doesn’t matter which one you choose.

You should see a square dot in the top right corner of the app. Clicking on that icon opens a menu that shows you what Google believes are the apps (and in what order) that make the most sense for you (even after years of ignoring certain apps).
Now comes the fun part. Simply click and hold the item you want to remove from the top of the menu and drag it to the bottom. Conversely, you can also find apps at the bottom and move them to the top. Once you have all the apps you want at the top, you can sort them in a specific order to best suit your needs.
When finished, click the menu to close it. Now you can open that menu from any Google app and the changes will be reflected automatically.

congratulations. Navigating the Google Apps menu is now a little more efficient and more customizable. Given how focused Google is on AI and machine learning, one would think that its menus would automatically adjust to how users use different Google apps. Fortunately, you can deal with it manually.
