In this in-person workshop, learn how to take full advantage of San Francisco’s unique gardening climate, which allows you to grow your own fruits and vegetables year-round. No matter the season, join us for a Grow Your Own Food workshop.
In October, you’ll learn how to care for your new winter garden and how to properly harvest vegetables and lettuce. You will also gain useful knowledge for caring for your garden throughout the year. If you have any questions, your instructor, Carrie, will be available to answer them.
Our expert instructor, Carrie Craddock, is a horticulturist who has been gardening and teaching others to garden in San Francisco since 1997. Carrie will guide you to the perfect home garden, explaining everything you need to know to reap the most from her home gardening efforts. Tour our garden!
