Saturday, October 14th
1. Faith Church Loveland will hold its 2023 Fall Family Carnival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2707 N. Wilson Ave. in Loveland. This free, family-friendly event will feature treats, games, booths, food and drinks, and more. All ages are welcome to attend, and donations of non-perishable food to the House of Neighborhood Services are also welcome.
2. Join Colorado Grit for Hockey Fight Cancer at the Greeley Ice House, 900 8th Street in downtown Greeley, at 3:45 p.m. The Grit takes on the Lone Star Brahmas while supporting cancer awareness. 3. The Grand Junction Air Show opens at 9 a.m. at the Grand Junction Regional Airport, 2828 Walker Field Drive. The show will feature vendor booths, food trucks, jet trucks, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and flight demonstrations including the Power Addiction Air Show. 4. The Downtown Pumpkin Festival will be held at noon at 201 E. 4th St. in Loveland. This free event includes a farmers market, artists, pumpkin carving and art, decorating activities, vendors, food trucks, music and more. We welcome participation from all age groups. 5. Ropes, Ride & Harvest is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Distillery Tasting Room, 115 Bourbon Street, Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. The star of the festivities will be a ride on the Cheyenne Street Railroad followed by his four-course farm-to-table transfer. Dinner, handcrafted cocktails, Western hospitality, rodeo and more. 6. Rush Archive is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. at the Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong Street, Brighton. Rush Archives is a famous Rush tribute band from the Rocky Mountain West region. 7. Aunt Helen’s Café & Wine Bar, 800 Eighth Ave., Suite 101 in downtown Greeley, will host a pumpkin decorating class from 2 p.m. In this class, students will learn a variety of decorating styles and techniques. 8. Join us for the Ranch Event Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration at 5280 Arena Circle in Loveland from noon to 4 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend the ribbon cutting, live music, tours of the facility, appearances by the Colorado Eagles, Bounce His House, and more. 9. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is offering free admission to all ages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2001 Colorado Blvd. in Denver. The museum features a variety of permanent and special exhibits that will interest all ages. Visitors do not need to reserve free tickets in advance, just go and get them in person. 10. Join Left Hand Brewing Company at 11 a.m. for the Fall Into Art Show at 1265 Boston Ave., Longmont. Local artists will be on-site to display work inspired by the changing seasons. 11. Tyler Halverson and Kylie Fray will bring their You Bar Now tour to Moxy Theater, 802 Ninth St. in downtown Greeley, starting at 8 p.m. Halverson and Frey will be performing on the Park Free Stage at the 2023 Greeley Stampede, bringing their unique musical styles back to Greeley. Monday, October 16th
12. Celebrate National Sports Day by watching “The Art of Baseball” on Facebook Live at 5 p.m. Author Tracy Sorrell shares her book Contenders: Two Native Baseball Players, One World Series with audiences of all ages. This book focuses on historical Native American baseball players and their impact on the sport. Illustrator Arigon Starr will also show viewers how to make their own baseball cards. 13. Calling all Swifties! Taylor Swift Trivia ends at 7 p.m. at 477 Distilling, 825 Ninth St., Unit B in Greeley.
