The Patten Free Library will be hosting two seasonal events on Saturday, December 16th.
The annual Starry Night is a walk of lights in Library Park from 4 to 7 p.m. This outdoor festival of lights will feature candle-lit pathways, baked goods and community gathering spaces.
New this year is Patten’s Night, a special ticketed event held inside the library from 5 to 7:30 p.m. For $25, patrons can enjoy an indoor light walk, tiny art auction, appetizers, drinks and music by Judd Caswell. Tickets can be purchased on the day or in advance at bit.ly/nightatpatten. Children under 12 are free.
The Tiny Art Auction will be held from December 16th to 31st. All works are his 3-by-3-inch canvases, courtesy of local artists, and will be auctioned to benefit the library. For more information and to view the online auction, visit patten.lib.me.us.
