YORKTOWN — Registration is now open for three January events at Yorktown Library featuring award-winning mystery and thriller authors.
“Fiction and Narrative Writing with Author El Cosimano” will be held on Jan. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. This workshop will be led by New York Times bestselling author El Cosimano and will focus on fiction and narrative storytelling. The theme for his first hour is “Developing Ideas into Stories,” and the second hour focuses on “What Makes Stories Work.” Programs open to those 18 and older welcome questions. No writing experience required. The Yorktown Library also asks that all work in progress remain at home.
“Crime Fiction with Local Author Hugh Lessig” will be held on January 13th from 2-3 p.m. Local mystery author Hugh Lessig will present crime fiction and his new book “Fadeaway” set in the Hamptons. Joe” will be given a lecture. road.
The final event, “New York Times bestselling author and Anthony Award winner SA Cosby in conversation with author El Cosimano,” will be held on January 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. At this event, audience members are invited to participate in conversations between author SAs. Cosby and El Cosimano discuss Cosby’s work and the interesting genre of crime fiction. SA Cosby will also be signing copies of his book after the conversation. Booksellers from Paperbacks Ink-All Booked Up will be on hand at the library to sell copies of Cosby’s works. Attendees must bring a personal copy to her to be signed or purchase one at the event.
All author talks will be held in the Yorktown Library Auditorium, 8500 George Washington Memorial Highway (Rt. 17).
