Spooky season may still be here, but Universal Studios Hollywood is gearing up for “the most wonderful time of the year.”
Seasonal favorites such as Grinchmas and Christmas from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter are set to return, while new food options will also be introduced to City Walk.
All holiday festivities begin Nov. 24 and end Jan. 1, 2024, and are included in theme park admission, the park announced Thursday.

Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Hogsmeade village is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland during the holiday season. Park guests can watch a special holiday a cappella performance by the Hogwarts Frog Choir, sip on a hot Butterbeer, and watch Hogwarts Castle light up for the evening show, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” .
The show includes music from the Harry Potter film series.
Grinchmas
The wicked Mr. Grinch is back for the annual “Grinchmas Hubilation” event at Universal Plaza in the middle of the theme park. Park visitors can take photos with the Grinch and his dog Max and meet other Whoville residents like Cindy Lou and his Who.
Guests can participate in Cindy Lou Who’s daily storytime, learn about “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and send letters from the Whoville Post Office during the event.
You can also purchase Whoville holiday treats, including Grinch donuts and hot cocoa.
The Who Viration also returns with an all-new daytime performance featuring Who Ville’s newest musical sensation, the Who Be Doo Wops Group.
Each night, the 65-foot “Grinchmas” tree, decorated with LED lights and hundreds of ornaments, is lit with a lighting ceremony.
Universal City Walk
CityWalk will be decked out in the best holiday decorations, and restaurants such as The Twosome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, and NBC Sports Grill & Brew will be serving up seasonal fare.
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen serves seasonal milkshakes, while Antojitos Cocina Mexicana offers a variety of holiday drinks including mistletoe mules, chestnut horchata, and apple cider margaritas.
NBC Sports Grill & Brew will also be offering peppermint martinis for a limited time, according to a news release.
Admission to CityWalk is free.
