FAIRFIELD – The Jefferson County 4-H Fundraising Committee invites the public to two gift wrapping events to be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12 and Friday, Dec. 22.
Both events will be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds from 4 to 7 p.m.

Hilary Lanman, Jefferson County 4-H youth coordinator, said this is the third year the committee has hosted the gift wrapping event.
“If you’re not good at wrapping or don’t like wrapping, have your 4-H fundraising committee wrap your gifts for you and they’ll put ribbons on them so they look pretty under the tree. ,” Lanman said. He said.
Lanman said the committee will host multi-day events to give the public more opportunities to participate.
“And if those two dates don’t work out, people can drop off their luggage any time during our business hours and we’ll have the committee wrap it for them,” Lanman said. Told.
The ISU Extension Office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Lanman said the event typically involves about 10 committee members and their children wrapping presents together. Programs supported by this fundraiser include a 4-H recognition banquet and his 4-H clinic.
