By immersing yourself in these gentle, mindful movements, you can dive in and learn. Tai Chi is an ancient art of moving meditation that uses 19 movements and one pose. Instructor Marie Dotts has been practicing for over 25 years and has coached many instructors. She improves balance and breathing and reduces stress levels. Tai Chi is also a very useful tool that provides the mental calm to transition into a seated meditation practice, but it can be difficult for people who lead busy and stressful lives. .
