Updated 12:20 p.m.: Cheyenne Police Department Spokesman Alex Farkas says a search of the South Cheyenne Walmart did not find a bomb and the store will reopen within 30 minutes.
A post on the CPD Facebook page revealed more details about the incident.
UPDATE: At approximately 11:09 a.m., Cheyenne police officers were dispatched to a report of a bomb threat at the Walmart located at 580 Livingston Avenue. An employee found a threatening note in the restroom and reported the information to police.
The building was evacuated and police officers quickly responded and began clearing the area. A K9 team from the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, which specializes in explosive detection, was also called in to sniff and search the building.
No bomb was found, so the building was allowed to reopen.

UPDATE: Cheyenne Police Officers are currently responding to a bomb threat at the Walmart on Livingston Street.
Due to the nature of the call, there is a heavy presence of law enforcement in the area. A specialized team is working to demolish the buildings that have been vacated. Please avoid that area. Additional details will be provided as more information becomes available.
