And cue the holiday music! It’s officially December and that means all the holidays. Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating. Hanukkah begins at dawn on December 7th.
Winter sports have begun at Sullivan West. Check the school website for up-to-date match information for all sporting events this winter. Please come and support local youth.
I love that our community offers so many different events to celebrate the holidays. Here are some examples being done locally:
Please join us Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church in christmas carol sing—Everyone is welcome! Join members of Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church and members of the community for the first Christmas hymn on Friday, December 15th at 5:30 p.m. Call Vicky Krauss at 845/932-8923 to confirm attendance and availability. You’ll need soup, hot dogs, and cookies. Sing classic Christmas songs and hymns. Anyone can enjoy it for free! Merry Christmas!
a cookie walk It will be held on Saturday, December 9th St. Paul Lutheran Church From Narrowsburg, New York 10am to 1pm cost at $10 per pound; IYou can choose from a wide variety of cookies.choose your ownnd gGet an early start to your holidays without the hassle of baking.
dickens on the delaware Callicoon transforms into a winter wonderland with streets filled with holiday trees, festive wreaths, and Christmas lights. Shops, galleries, and restaurants highlight holiday goods and get visitors into the city in the holiday spirit. The shopkeeper is dressed in Victorian costume.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 3rd from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. 2nd Annual Lake Superior Ice Fishing Tournament. They are also looking for sponsors for this event. If you are interested in this event or have any questions, please call 845/978-6161.
