Microsoft recently launched Windows 11 23H2 update. It introduces new features like the long-awaited tabbed file explorer and Copilot powered by GPT-4. However, several users have reported that the latest update is slowing down their PCs.
A Reddit user named BNSould recently opened a thread suggesting that the Windows 11 23H2 update slows down the CPU by 5-8% when running benchmarks, causing games to randomly stutter even after a clean install. Ta.
This was also corroborated by other users who complained about similar issues on Microsoft forums and other websites. If you’re experiencing performance issues after updating your PC to Windows 11 23H2, here’s how to resolve the issue.
1.[ć¹ćæć¼ć]Right click on the menu and[Windows Powershell (ē®”ēč )]Click.
2.In the window that appears, type “get -appxpackage microsoft.sechealthui -allusers”. Run “Reset-AppxPackage” and restart your PC.
3. Next, go to your PC’s BIOS settings and enable CPU virtualization. (AMD calls this SVM).
4. Once you log back into Windows 11, find and open Windows Security and go to Device Security.
5. Here you will see an option called āCore Isolation Detailsā under the section with the same name. Click on it and enable “Memory Integrity”.
6. Restart Windows again and you’re good to go.
Note: Be careful not to mess with other settings, as some of these settings involve changing advanced system settings and could render your PC unusable. For users who don’t want to go through the hassle, Microsoft plans to fix the issue in a future update, but you may have to wait a while.
