Halloween is making monster sales a surprise for local hospitality businesses, but it’s much more aimed at adults than kids.
Nova Destination’s Pulaski facility has attracted more than 600 visitors to its “Halloween Trail” in the past and expects to reach at least that number this year, said Jonathan Wright, Nova operations manager. said.
“This is three times the size of the other trails,” Wright said.
The event, which starts at 3 p.m. the next three Fridays and 11 a.m. the next three Saturdays, is $45 each day and is open to spectators 21 and older.
Better known as “The Property,” this location is where Nova will offer its alcohol products, including beer, wine, spirits, ciders, and carbonated beverages, in a variety of facilities within the building.
On Halloween, each center on the property offers food paired with alcohol samples.
This isn’t just winner-take-all.
Hampton Inn in Springfield Township is partnering with Nova to invite people from outside the area to spend the night here.
So far, Hampton Inn has booked a total of 40 rooms and 100 people for the Halloween festivities, said Stacey Glenn, director of sales for American Hospitality Group. The company owns Hampton Inn in Springfield Township near Grove City Premium Outlets, as well as the adjacent Holiday Inn Express and Candlewood Suites.
