The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to multiple reports of theft and damage between November 13th and November 26th. The reported thefts ranged from televisions to luggage.
A vehicle charging station was found damaged in the City of Oxford parking lot on West Walnut Street just after 9 a.m. on Nov. 13.
Later that day, at 11 a.m., officers were dispatched to a Walmart where there had been a theft. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect inside the store, took him into custody and charged him.
On Nov. 14 at 3:30 p.m., a low hitch was stolen from a woman’s car while it was parked in the 700 block of Fullerway. One hour later, another subject reported a bicycle stolen from The Verge apartment complex. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
According to OPD media reports, there were no incidents reported on Nov. 15.
At 10 a.m. Nov. 16, a woman reported a trailer hitch mount and hook stolen in the 600 block of S. College Avenue.
Police responded to a man unconscious on the sidewalk just after midnight on Nov. 17. The man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, prohibited conduct and underage drinking and was taken to McCullough-Hyde Hospital.
Later that night, another man was involved in an altercation that damaged his vehicle and attempted to flee from police. He was charged with obstruction of justice, prohibited conduct, criminal damage and underage drinking.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, a belligerent male was arrested on Brick Street and OPD charged him with trespassing, assault, resisting arrest and underage drinking.
A woman reported at 11:20 a.m. that a man had knocked and broken the door window of her home the night before. No trespassing was reported and the man was unknown at the time of the report.
On Nov. 18 at 10 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting incident at Walmart.
On November 20, a person went to a police station just before 2 a.m. to report that he had received a threat from an unknown person online and had sent money out of fear.

Officers also responded to two theft reports. Just before 6 p.m., a resident of the annex apartment reported that a package had been stolen. Another person living in his 6000 block of Vereker Dr. reported the theft by a known suspect.
On Nov. 22 at 7:20 p.m., two people stole four televisions from a store in the 5700 block of College Corner Pike. The suspects left the scene before police arrived. Investigation is ongoing.
The next day, an individual reported disruptive and abusive behavior by members of his “internal organization” in the 120 block of South Campus Avenue.
At 1 p.m. on Nov. 22, a Juniper employee reported that a “lace cami” had been stolen by a teenage girl. Hours later, in the 10 block of W. High Street, two juveniles stole merchandise from another store without paying for it.
On November 26th, an individual reported a damaged car tire in the 27th floor parking lot.
