A Walmart employee has gone viral after filming himself being fired for telling a customer to “Google it.”

Retail employees are expected to maintain a certain level of professionalism, whether it’s serving customers or maintaining a light, friendly conversation.
One Walmart employee learned this the hard way after he was “fired” following an incident in which he allegedly told a customer to “Google” the answer to a question.

An employee, Christian, decided to film himself being called in for a conversation with higher-ups, capturing the moment he was fired from his job.
The inciting incident occurred while Christian was in line with customers when a woman asked him a question. Feeling under “a lot of pressure” from her, he is said to have been rude to her, telling her to “google” her answers himself.

Even though Christian tried to defend himself, he was eventually shut down by his boss, who told him, “Why didn’t you help her?” You are a free person…you can do all these things. ”

“I’ll stop you there,” she replied. “Firstly, you don’t know what my job means…Secondly, it’s your field and we all have the same responsibility of doing the same thing: taking care of the customer.” Therefore, based on the circumstances and their outcome, and the fact that this has happened many times before, I have decided to release you.”
Despite Christian’s objections, he questions why his boss didn’t help him more and is fired.
The clip was reposted on TikTok by “funny..bone..956” and has since gone viral, with many viewers divided over the decision to fire Christian.
