A married woman who allegedly attended a sex party with Cash App co-founder Bob Lee before he was killed was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in connection with Monday’s hit-and-run.
Hazar Eliasnia, 38, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit-and-run, failure to stay in a traffic lane and failure to provide proof of financial responsibility, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
San Francisco police responded to a car crash near the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood at 11:08 a.m. Monday.
The incident comes seven months after Eliasnia’s brother, Nima Momeni, was charged with the murder of technology executive Lee. There is no indication at this time that the DUI charge is connected to Lee’s murder.
Sheriff’s officials told the Post Hazar Momeni that he was not listed in jail as of Tuesday morning, indicating he was released on bail.
Eliasnia, also known as Hazar Momeni, has supported her brother throughout the legal process and often attends hearings with her husband, Dr. Dino Eliasnia.
The attractive surgeon’s wife was in a romantic relationship with Mr Lee and is said to have been with him and her brother hours before he was allegedly murdered.
Lee, 43, is a divorced father of two who allegedly frequented underground sex and drug parties with San Francisco’s elite, including Eliasnia, according to the Wall Street Journal. There is.
The San Francisco coroner said Lee, who was killed in the early hours of April 4, had two stab wounds to his upper chest and a possible third wound to his right hip.
A toxicology report found that he had cocaine, ketamine and other substances in his system at the time of his death.
Prosecutors said technology consultant Nima Momeni killed Lee after an argument over Eliasnia.
Prosecutors said Momeni confronted Lee about his sister and asked her if they had been “doing drugs or doing anything inappropriate” together.
On the night Lee died, one of the last messages Eliasnia received from Lee was: “I know Nima has treated you badly.”
Momeni was arrested more than a week after Lee’s death and has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
Mr. Eliasnia reportedly refused to cooperate with prosecutors. His friends describe the brothers as “incredibly close”.
Nima Momeni is scheduled to appear in court again on Thursday.
This week, new photos were released showing a 43-year-old man behind bulletproof prison windows.
According to the San Francisco Standard, Momeni was wearing an orange prison sweater and pants and had a stack of books on his desk, including a biography of Napoleon Bonaparte by Andrew Roberts; Includes books on psychology by mythologist Joseph Campbell.
Tony Blass, one of Momeni’s lawyers, told the magazine in October that “it is imperative that the full story be revealed.” “We’re not trying to hide anything. Rather, we’re trying to tell the full story of how this incident happened.”
