ATLANTA — Season’s Greetings! The year is coming to an end in just a few weeks, and people are getting into the holiday spirit with adventures around metro Atlanta.
Whether it’s taking part in Christmas carols or playing in the “snow” on the subway, participating in holiday fun is a joy for friends, family, and loved ones.

Skate the station at Atlantic Station
Skate the Station is back as an Atlanta staple! Through January 15th.
The weather is nice, so before heading to the skating rink, families should keep an eye on the station’s social media sites or check local weather forecasts on 11Alive.

Go sky skating at Ponce City Market
It’s time to go sky skating at Ponce City Market Rink. From the rooftop, residents can look out over Ponce de Leon Avenue, the Beltline, and the historic Old Fourth Ward.
Those who enjoy Skyline Park or Nine Mile Station can walk up without having to buy a ticket.

The Link at Park Tavern
Winter Wonderland is located in Midtown along with The Rink at Park Tavern.
Residents can not only leisurely enjoy skating, but also take skating lessons. Enjoy views of Piedmont Park and the skyline.
The rink is open from 4:30pm to midnight Monday through Friday, and from 11:30am to midnight Saturday and Sunday.

This link is located in Alpharetta Shopping Experiences. Officials said the link was inspired by Rockefeller.
If you would like to attend, please reserve your time slot in advance. However, walk-ins are also welcome.
The rink is open Monday through Friday from 3pm to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 7pm.

Chill Snow Island License
Not only can you ice skate on Lake Lanier, but you can also enjoy some “snow” in Margaritaville, Lanier Islands.
According to the online calendar, it will be open until February.
Instead of driving north to get snow, residents can drive to Buford to shovel snow, enjoy a snowball toss, and ride amusement park rides. Learn more about.

Illuminati Night at Zoo Atlanta
It’s a holiday tradition loved by many! Zoo Atlanta will feature illuminated wildlife exhibits while residents view the animals.
There are also some holiday activities like roasting marshmallows around the fire and drinking hot cocoa to warm up the holiday spirit.
Zoo officials said this year will feature new lanterns and experiences. Holiday lights will be on until January 14, 2024.
All guests have to do is purchase a zoo ticket and enjoy the fun experience.

Located in the historic Old Fourth Ward, this exhibit offers guests two winter wonderland experiences.
Officials said guests will be transported to Santa’s luxurious winter palace through a 360-degree display and be treated to a show of sparkling northern lights.

Six Flags – Wonderland of Lights
The fun season is here! Six Flags Over Georgia is back with more holiday fun. The event will run until January 3, 2024.
“With dazzling lighting and decorative displays, exhilarating rides and a variety of seasonal fun, we aim to create memories for our guests that will last a lifetime,” said Park President David Zellner. .
Amusement park officials said several new live shows and offerings are in the works for the magical winter event.
A holiday night at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is in its 13th year hosting Garden Lights, Holiday Night.
Each year, the gardens feature fan favorites and new installations, and the displays are illuminated with lights.
According to garden officials, the display will light up every night until January 14, 2024.

Atlanta’s favorite holiday bar is back with extravagant decorations, twinkling lights, and more.
Residents can enjoy festive cocktails and mocktails along with holiday snacks. The bar is open Wednesday through Thursday from 5 PM to midnight.
The bar is also open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. You can also make a reservation and come directly to the store to experience it.
Tinsels Over-the-Top Burger Bar
This burger joint hosts a different themed holiday pop-up bar each year. Located in Buford, residents can enjoy burgers and holiday fun.
The pop-up bar will be open from December 1st to December 31st.

Mercantile Social’s Merry Grinchmas Pop-up Bar
The Grinch stole Christmas at Mercantile Social Holiday Pop-Up Bar! The restaurant serves drinks inspired by Alpharetta’s green creatures.
Mercantile Social says that some foods and drinks can make your heart several sizes bigger.

Bilton Bar Blitzen Room
Biltong Bar celebrates Santa’s reindeer to get into the Christmas spirit.
The bar only accepts walk-ins, but residents can enjoy pop-ups starting at noon every day.
Wonderland at Willow Bar
Guests can enjoy a snowy winter getaway at Wonderland at Willow Bar. Perfect for this season.
According to the owner, the bar will feature igloos and lighting inspired by a ski lodge.

Tradition Trees also offers a service where our staff works with lighting experts to brighten residents’ homes.
Little Rob’s Christmas Tree
Little Rob is celebrating 31 years in the Christmas tree business. The Christmas tree sale began as a way to fund a rock climbing trip and has become a tradition in metro Atlanta, according to the website.
It’s near the site of the Buckhead Saloon, where burned-out remains still stand. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Christmas Day.

Yule Forest Christmas Tree Farm
This farm in Stockbridge offers more than just buying a tree, it offers the ultimate holly experience.
Their website states that families can enjoy hot apple cider, a visit with Santa, farm friends, and a fun zone for kids.
The farmer has a variety of trees for residents to choose from, including Blue Ice Cypress, Virginia Pines, and more. There was also snow on the trees. The farm is open until December 16th, with weekday hours from 3pm to 7pm and weekend hours from 10am to 6pm.
