RIYADH: Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Fareh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, on Monday, addressed the 2023 Middle East and North Africa Climate Week (MENACW) in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Participated in the opening ceremony.
In addition to his participation, His Excellency also led the delegation of the State of Qatar to the GCC Ministerial Meeting on Environment.
In cooperation with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Secretariat, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host MENACW from October 8th to 12th.
His Excellency Sheikh Fareh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, during his participation in the Middle East and North Africa Climate Week 2023 (MENACW), addressed COP28 President Sultan -Meeted with His Excellency Al Jaber. Held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Excellency Bader bin Omar Al Dafa, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Climate Change and Sustainability, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change highlighted Qatar’s support for the United Arab Emirates during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28). The two sides also discussed ways to develop joint cooperation on climate change and sustainability.
