KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Check out all the family fun events this weekend.
Friday, November 24th:
Christmas is known for red and green, but East Tennessee also sees a bit of orange. Visit the Bleak House on Friday and enjoy the Big Orange Christmas with Santa. From 10am to 5pm, enjoy a festive photo shoot while sharing ideas for the perfect Christmas present.
Looking for some sparkle to start the Christmas season? Look no further than the Knoxville Convention Center, which hosts East Tennessee Children’s Tree Fantasy. Enjoy a fun display of Christmas trees showcasing thousands of lights for the community to enjoy. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and children 3 and under are free. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until November 26.
Sunday, November 26th:
Celebrate a cause while enjoying a winter-themed pet portie at Highwire Brewing. There will be a winter-themed photo booth where you can take a photo with your pet for a $5 donation. There will also be a pet supplies drive for dog food, bedding, toys, towels and more. All donations will go to the Knox Vintage Pet Project. The fun is Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
Lakeshore Park lights will reopen Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. Enjoy holiday market vendors, food trucks, entertainment, and of course Christmas lights.
