Christmas is just around the corner and the city of Gulf Shores is once again gearing up to celebrate with a variety of holiday events. Whether it’s eating breakfast with the Man in Red or listening to Christmas classics at Baldwin’s Holiday Concert of His Pops, families of all ages can join in on the excitement of the season.
Sims Park Community Christmas
December 1st | 6pm to 8pm
Christmas celebrations begin with a Christmas celebration at Sims Park. Families will enjoy photo opportunities with Santa, Christmas treats, crafts, the 8th Annual Snowball His Drop, and more. Snowball Drop is a man-made snowstorm in which 8,000 ping pong balls fall from above. Winning snowballs will be numbered to correlate with prizes provided by our generous sponsors.

Baldwin Pops Holiday Concert
December 5th | 7pm
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the City of Gulf Shores will open its doors to host the Baldwin Pops Band’s Christmas concert at the Ellie H. Meyer Civic Center. Baldwin Pops is an organization of volunteer musicians whose mission is to share music in the form of free concerts to Baldwin County residents.
No tickets are required for this event. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Baldwin Pops Concert is a collection site for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Young Children program. Patrons are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gifts.
Meyer Park Movies – Christmas Edition
December 14th | 6pm
Elf will be shown on the big screen as part of the Meyer Park movie series. Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, friends and family to watch free Christmas movies under the stars.
breakfast with santa
December 16th | 8am
Children will have a chance to visit with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 16, as the City of Gulf Shores hosts Breakfast with Santa at the Ellie H. Meyer Civic Center. Starting at 8 a.m., families can enjoy a healthy breakfast of sausage, bacon, eggs and pancakes. Admission to Breakfast with Santa is $5, and children 3 and under are free. Children will also receive a free photo with Santa.
