We’re about to tell you how great your holiday weather forecast is. Then, he was sidelined due to an injury during a match and is currently sitting on the bench in WLWT. Let’s take a look at how fans react to ATF’s information. Two weeks have passed since the shooting incident. West End This He is WLWT News 5. Take the lead. Okay, let’s talk about Burrow and the Bengals in a moment. But first we have to talk about the weather. Thank you for joining us at noon. Joining us now are Stephen Albritton and Adam Burnison. As you expected, and as we all expected, the radar is now on here this afternoon. Yes, I had a slightly wet morning commute, but it’s starting to get brighter in some areas. However, other areas still seem to be experiencing heavy rain. And even though this first round is coming to an end, it’s not quite complete yet. Now, shower activities are gradually spreading in our area. The closest one is just a little way into northern Kentucky. But as I take you on a radar tour here, you’ll see some light showers right around. Cheviot area of the Dell Highlands. We are planning to move downtown soon. We can see that the front lines are already starting to move little by little. But as I mentioned, we’re still seeing some mild rain in Northern Kentucky. You can see the yellow that was just south of Independence moving east toward parts of Campbell County. It will eventually reach New Richmond, then more heavy rain will fall just south of Mount Orb, toward parts of Highland-Adams in Brown County, and back into Bethel and Clermont counties in Georgetown. With some heavy rain. Peebles currently sees some red and yellow in its forecast. As mentioned earlier, this is the first line to cross, but that front is still farther west offshore. So a few more showers are likely during the afternoon and evening. The good news is that we’re going to have to cut back on that later tonight, especially heading into tonight with the high school football playoff games and other activities that you guys are doing. Temperatures will be in the low 50s this afternoon only. But my forecast says colder air will move in over the weekend. Here’s a sneak peek at Steven’s holiday travel forecast. Okay, Adam, thank you very much. WLWT I-275 eastbound is currently closed between Route 74 and Reagan due to an accident. It’s not immediately clear how many cars were involved or if anyone was injured, but there was a massive response there and traffic is very well backed up. Now, if you’re heading in that direction, be prepared for delays, traffic, and traffic, especially in weather like we’re having right now. Latest news regarding Joe Burrow, who was sidelined last night against the Ravens with a wrist injury. But now the NFL is investigating whether the Bengals knew he was injured before the game. Head coach Zac Taylor said something immediately after last night’s loss. He appeared to sprain his wrist, took a fall early in the game, and then appeared to hurt his wrist on a touchdown pass. He’d heard it all by tonight. Not that I know of. So we’re hoping to get an update from Zac Taylor on 240 in a few hours. The press conference will be broadcast live here. However, this question stems from a video you’ve probably seen online on social media showing a den wearing what looks like a brace before a game. And it was the same wrist he injured in the second quarter last night in Baltimore. Barrow was clearly in pain. There’s a throw there and you see him grab it and hold his right wrist on the touchdown pass. Well, he got checked on the sideline, but if you were watching the game, you saw this moment. He just holds his wrist twice. You know, he’s disappointed. Well, he was just trying to test it. He went to the locker room. He returned to stand on the sideline, but he did not return to the game. In the second half, Zac Taylor and several Bengals players were asked about the injury after the game. Let’s listen. There was a lot of talk on social media about Barrow having something on his wrist as he got off the bus. First of all. I saw it. Think about it. I did not understand. Everyone started asking me about this wrist thing and I had no idea why. I thought they were talking about someone else on the team. I didn’t know until I think I got back there just before halftime. So everyone was like, “Where’s Joe?” And sure enough, he wasn’t there. So, you know, at the time we found out, it was quite a thing. And after that, it was just as it was. Again, I look forward to updates and some clarifications. The NFL investigation will be back in action at a press conference scheduled for 2:40 p.m. It will be broadcast live. Meanwhile, Joe Burrow’s new injury is back in focus, leaving the future of the season in limbo. WLWT News 5, Brian Hamrick joins us live to give you a live look at fan reaction following this turmoil surrounding this team over the past 14 hours or so. Brian. Yeah. Steve and one Bengals fan said the gloomy weather here is perfect. The day Joe Burrow suffered this injury was devastating for many very disappointed fans. Look at Joe trying to throw the ball. He couldn’t do that. It’s unfortunate not only because of the team’s winning streak, but because many fans liked Joe just because he had just returned from a calf injury and was getting back into shape. Many questions remained about how quickly he would recover. How could the team do without him now? His backup worked really well. But Joe, Joe Magic. We need to get back to where we need to be healthy, but the season isn’t over yet or we can still do that. There are a lot of people who say, “Oh, it’s over, it’s over.” We are dead in the water. No, no, no, no. Please keep your faith. Today’s message is from a fan. But they’re waiting to hear and get an evaluation on the condition of his wrist, just to see how serious it is. And that will give him more insight into what this means for this season. Live Report, Brian Hamrick, WLWT News 4:05 p.m. Brian, thank you so much. I appreciate it very much. Now, supporters of Palestine will soon gather at the University of Cincinnati to rally for the community. John London from WLWT NEWS FIVE will be joining us live. John, I know the event was supposed to start at noon, but it rained so was anyone unable to attend? Well, today is Friday and it’s raining on and off, but there are students here. Oh, I don’t know, about 30 or 40 people are here and demonstrating under the canopy in front of Tangerine Center between Tangerine and Mamiken. This is exactly the kind of demonstration that reflects the tensions and concerns that have been brewing since October. 7th place in the Middle East. They are students seeking justice for Palestine. And they say it’s not business as usual. And like Jewish students, Muslim students have expressed concerns about their safety and their ability to feel safe and free to express themselves. The demonstration here comes on the heels of a student government resolution condemning Israel, which condemns the ongoing Gaza genocide and ethnic cleansing, and which has been referred to the student government. . If President Taylor Morgan approves the resolution, he has until next week to approve or veto it. The university released a statement saying the past five and a half weeks have been difficult, but it’s really unclear where things will go from here. They recognize that there is a lot of pain and suffering among students on campus, and they recognize solutions to it. They are aware of the differing views and say we are monitoring the environment at Paulding, the UC Joe venue.
