Schools across Israel will remain closed tomorrow, but the Ministry of Education has announced that distance learning has been approved.
“After assessing safety in accordance with the guidance of the Home Front Command, the Ministry of Education announces tomorrow that face-to-face educational activities will be suspended across the country,” the ministry said in a statement.
Distance learning in the style previously implemented during the 2020-2021 coronavirus lockdown has been approved, with each school adjusting its own schedule, the ministry said.
Individual schools can continue to hold in-person learning and activities, but this will require coordination between the ministry, the IDF Home Front Command, and the school’s local government.
