BUTLER — The Butler Community Food Pantry will be holding a distribution tonight, Nov. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The food pantry is located at Butler Community Christian Church, 501 W. Green St. The pantry serves residents of the DeKalb County Eastern Community School District and Franklin Township.
Bazaar and bake sale sponsored by the church
BUTLER — Butler Community Christian Church, 501 W. Green St., will hold a holiday bazaar and bake sale at the church on Friday and Saturday.
Business hours are Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
There will be baked goods, homemade candles, crafts and artifacts for sale.
Beef, noodles, and mashed potatoes are available for dine-in or take-out on both days.
ST. JOE — The town of St. Joe will host a dance-a-thon Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
This event will be held at the Spencerville Community Club, 5629, CR 68, Spencerville.The afterparty will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Curie Building Project, a community center and day care facility in St. Joe.

BUTLER — Butler residents are being urged to submit the blue emergency alert notification forms they received in the mail several weeks ago.
This emergency alert notification system may take the form of phone, email, or text alerts. The City of Butler’s goal is to be able to notify residents in a timely manner in the event of an emergency, such as a boil water advisory, or a non-emergency, such as a road or rail closure or city project.

The Clothing Ministry is located at 108 E. Main St., just east of Butler’s stoplight.
Helping Hands is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Our selection of second-hand items is constantly growing, and you’ll discover something new every time you visit.

BUTLER — Filling Station Youth Center, 315 S. Federation St., serves youth ages 4 to 17.
The center is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm to 6pm and Friday from 7pm to 10pm.
Tween Nights for grades 5 and up are the first and second Saturday of each month from 7-10 p.m.
The Youth Center is open year-round except July. All meals and activities are free at the Youth Center.
