If you didn’t attend the Exertis Almo E4 Experience event in your backyard this year, you’re missing out. I say it clearly. I think #E4Experience is the best regional show. And no, this is it’s not It’s an advertisement!
This event changed things for me in 2016. This event keeps getting better and better, so now we want to spread the word to as many people as possible. Parallel to Exertis Almo’s own growth, our vendor partnerships are also growing. This has made the exhibition hall experience bigger and better over the years. And Exertis Almo’s Tom Kehr, one of the most well-known trainers in the industry, is active in the education field, complementing Gary Kayye’s topical keynote. It’s that simple. Combining education with modern technology and adding a networking aspect creates the perfect recipe.
E4 experience event, maximum impact
Each year, Exertis Almo hosts four E4 Experience events. There are usually two on the West Coast and two on the East Coast. In some cases, they converge in Texas or Illinois somewhere in between. Regardless of the destination, I have been fortunate to travel with the team at each stop for the past two years. The standout event of 2022 was the first show in Chicago to celebrate Exertis and Almo officially joining together as his one company. My highlight this year was visiting the New York City metro area in September.
What I want to say is that when we arrived in Teaneck, New Jersey, I was very excited. Maybe it was the hustle and bustle of New York just across the bridge. Perhaps, for the participants, he was genuinely happy to be able to receive the E4 experience back in his corner of the forest. I know I’m not the only one feeling elated.
Recently, I spoke with James Calandrillo, vice president of sales for Exertis Almo’s Northeast and national business teams. During our conversation, he expressed the same sentiment. “It was so exciting to have E4 return to the New York metropolitan area for the first time since the pandemic,” said Calandrillo. “This was a big step for the region to once again be a trailblazer and a center of advancement in delivering superior technology and a comprehensive AV experience.” is bullish on bringing people back to work and expects technology-focused events to greatly benefit that effort. Calandrillo also reflected on the show’s history, saying, “This location has a great history because it was the first E4 location in 2010.”
The event in Teaneck was a full-circle moment for many of our team members on the ground. And I, too, feel incredibly lucky as a multimedia journalist who has traveled everywhere over the past two years. But the biggest reason why E4 Experience has been so popular over the years is our partners. As it turns out, partnerships, education, and technology are at the foundation of this experience.
“There is no E4 experience without value-added partners,” Calandrillo said. “This is a unique opportunity for partners in the New York metropolitan area to participate in the event. [like this]. E4 focuses on what our partners are looking for today, from education to engagement. [helps] Prepare them for the future. ” He added that these events could also cause a surge in demand for exciting new technologies. According to Calandrillo, “All of the sales representatives from local manufacturers are in attendance, and some are bringing in end-user-focused representatives who will work on demand generation.” He added that it is something that he supports. “We encourage our value-add partners to bring their end-user customers to the show,” Calandrillo said. “This gives him the best opportunity to experience Universal’s showroom and local support all in one place.”
One of the reasons I love the E4 Experience as a multimedia journalist covering the industry is because it provides the following value: everyone. By traveling across the country, we meet you where you are and provide a wealth of knowledge and opportunities. free. This is why I keep attending event after event, and why #avtweeps consider it a must-attend event.
AV industry events can break down barriers and change things for many people (especially myself included). Stay tuned for E4 Experience dates in 2024. If this experience spreads to your city, we’d love to meet you!
