Walmart riot
Police were called to Walmart on Monday, where a man was reportedly causing a disturbance.
Brandon J. Aker, 42, of Butte, drove to the shopping center and entered the store with his 6-year-old boy. When he arrived at the motor vehicle department, he took off his shirt, then his pants and laid down on the floor, police said.
Aaker was arrested for DUI (second offense), disorderly conduct, and child endangerment.
drunk driving tuesday
Around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers stopped Isaiah H. Waldman, 23, of Butte near the intersection of Silver and Washington streets.
Waldman reportedly failed in a sobriety operation at the scene and was taken to jail, where he refused a breathalyzer test.

James H. Larson, 50, of Butte was booked into jail Tuesday on suspicion of being a habitual offender.

Officers arrived at the Adult Probation Department office Monday to take Matthew T. Bowen, 48, of Butte into custody.
He was jailed on two charges: unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and breaching conditions of release.

Thursday, a man in the 600 block of North Idaho Street called to report that Jessica R. Elliott, 41, of Butte, was at home and refusing to leave.
When officers arrived, she was taken into custody for resisting arrest, city contempt, and a Montana Highway Patrol warrant.
MHP arrested
Montana Highway Patrol troopers arrested Jonathan P. Kovasch II, 35, of Butte, at the Town Pump, 531 S. Montana St., on Wednesday.
Two $25,000 arrest warrants were issued for Kovasch, one from Lewis and Clark County and the other from Butte-Silverbow. He also reportedly gave police officers a false name.
Officers arrived and took him to the Butte Detention Center, where he was also booked on three counts of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, theft, obstruction of justice, and violation of probation.

On Wednesday, Lindsay R. Young, 43, of Butte, parked her car at the old Hawthorne High School and acted strangely, turning on and off her hazard lights. Her concern asked her if she was okay, but Young reportedly did not answer and just continued to shake her head.
When officers arrived to check on her and asked her to roll down her window, Young allegedly said no and drove off northbound in the Hancock. Another officer blocked her path and her vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Gladstone and Richardson.
There, Young reportedly kicked one officer in the upper thigh and attempted to flee. She was jailed for assaulting a peace officer and fleeing police.
Suspicion of assault
On Tuesday, Sierra L. Roy, 27, of Butte was reportedly at a residence where she wasn’t supposed to be. While she was there, she allegedly grabbed a man by the throat.
She was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a partner or family member and violating a no-contact order.

Two Bothell, Wash., residents were taken into custody Wednesday at the Copper King Inn.
Kesley M. Dawes, 37, and Brandon C. North, 39, were both jailed on charges of drug possession with intent to distribute and use or possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture. .
