HThe problem is that white women don’t like being called Karens.— as if they were the latest victims of racial injustice — but they wondered what it was like to be constantly the target of racial profiling, and what happened next. You don’t really understand what it’s like when you don’t know what everyday activities to engage in. we can’t work. I can’t do fun activities. No parties allowed. Unable to perform public services. Our children cannot play on the road or water the plants. We don’t allow white people in our stores as long as they take an interest in our business and don’t harass us, claim privileges we don’t have, or assume at first glance that we’re criminals. Often you can’t even shop. The “Karen” media phenomenon of the past few years is nothing compared to the impact that generations of “Karen” realities have had on Black people.
In other words, white women complaining about so-called “slander” can bring me crying like the Karen River.

Anyway, here’s a video of Karen at Walmart berating black customers for not having money to buy anything while accusing them of being drug dealers.a Karen clearly confusedif you don’t mind.
The video begins with a white female Walmart employee getting into an argument with a group of black people, one of whom threatens to report her to the company. (Imagine she turned into a distraught Karen demanding that black people speak to her. your manager. )
“You make me company,” she challenged the men, after making a point of showing the person with the camera a close-up of her name tag.
Karen, identified in the video as “Mary,” then puts her hands on her hips and begins jerking off, as if trying to turn her neck to mock the black woman, and tells the customer: If you’re spending money, we don’t need customers. ” (Seriously, she sounded like she was trying to fake black cents while giving her best impression of how white people think black people behave.
“Oh, so I don’t spend money because I’m black?” one man responded.
Karen started Karen spline She has already had to kick others out of the store because they thought it was a “playground.” One of the black men asked what he had done to treat Walmart like a playground. Karen Named Mary seemed to ignore the investigation and continue to imply that black customers couldn’t afford it.
Also—I’m not trying to be classist here.—But if you’re a Walmart employee, you might not be in a position to point at a random black person and call him bankrupt. In fact, one of the men in the group said the same thing.
At one point, Karen turned to her manager, another white woman, and demanded her reinstatement. The manager was basically like “meh” and reprimanded her employee instead. (Imagine she’s a Karen with no freedom, so much so that when she requests to speak to her manager, the manager almost calls you Karen, too.)
“I’m not going to be treated like that by him. If you don’t stand up, your boss will have to answer,” Miss Mary Cullen yelled at the manager. “Come on, take care of him!”
One of the black men yelled as she hurried away. “No, I’m a customer. You’re a worker. I got paid.— “There’s more money than you make,” Karen replied, implying they had “drug money.”
Karen said the whole conflict started when she asked the manager if she could help the group find something and they responded rudely. Black customers disputed this claim, claiming that she had approached them in a disrespectful manner and they simply responded with the same energy. Again, Black people know this experience all too well. We know there are many different ways a store clerk can ask, “Can you help me find something?” There’s a polite way to ask questions that won’t leave anyone wondering if you’re asking for reasons other than providing good customer service. Additionally, there is a style of questioning that white employees often ask, which means that they are trying to blame shoplifters without accusing them of shoplifting.
And before anyone accuses me of playing the infamous “race card,” Karen assumes black customers don’t have money, and when informed that they actually do, they’re on drugs. I want you to remember that I thought you were a dealer.
Either way, Karen’s manager wasn’t on her side, and the old white lady who was jumping up and down was furious.
“You answer this,” she yelled to the manager after she took out her camera and returned to record footage of herself. This is a strange thing that paranoid Karens do when they blind white people to the fact that they are the only ones in this place. error.
In the video, one of the men can be heard asking if the employee was being fired. The question went unanswered, but the manager was heard telling Mary to “go away” and then chasing after her to finally reprimand Mary harshly.
