These events celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas in a fun way for the whole family.
Preparations are progressing smoothly. In Philadelphia, the Love Park Christmas Village is being built. Holiday trees have already arrived outside City Hall.
Below you’ll find details about upcoming holiday events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Atlantic County: DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express – Hammonton, NJ
Ride the train through the Christmas lights, take a photo with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, or a snowman, eat cookies, go bowling, and have fun at DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express. This experience will begin on his November 17th, November and he will begin with some dates in December.
Tickets are required and recommended to be purchased online in advance from $22.95 to $27.95 on Saturday (prices include $3 handling fee). Tickets may be available at the door.
All tickets include one complimentary bowling game and one complimentary shoe rental per person.

Berks County: Kozial Christmas Village – Bernville, Pennsylvania
First opened in 1948, Kozial’s Christmas Village is a beautiful holiday walk-through experience with lots of lights and displays. There’s a kissing bridge, a train, Santa himself, and other good options.
According to Kozial’s Facebook page, all veterans and active duty military can visit for half price on Veterans Day.
Bucks County: Yardley Hanukkah Village – Yardley, Pennsylvania
On December 10th, Yardley’s Main Street will be transformed with a festival of lights. A flyer for the event by Chabad Lubavitch of Yardley promises “Hanukkah activities, giveaways and treats” starting at 3 p.m.
A grand menorah lighting ceremony will take place at Buttonwood Park at 4:15 p.m. We also have latkes, live music, and chocolate gelt (chocolate coins).

Bucks County: Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
You can celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa at Sesame Place in Langhorne starting November 17 with “A Very Furry Christmas Celebration.”
Christmas events include a dance party, storytime, Elmo’s Christmas Wish Musical, and the Sesame Street Christmas Parade (check the schedule for the night you go; it’s likely to be held at 6 p.m.).
From Dec. 8 to Dec. 10, Sesame Place will host a Hanukkah menorah lighting ceremony starting at 4:30 p.m. Baby Bear, one of Sesame Street’s Jewish characters, will also be there, and attendees can play a game of dreidel and learn all about the Hanukkah menorah. holiday.
From Dec. 26 to Jan. 1, Sesame Place will host a Kwanzaa celebration with Kinara lights every night at 4 p.m., as well as lessons on Kwanzaa principles and values.
Camden County: Christmas Underwater – Camden, New Jersey
Adventure Aquarium wants you to enjoy a cheerful “Fishmas” in Holly from November 24th until Christmas Eve. Christmas Underwater will be back soon.
The aquarium’s website confirms that Scuba Santa, who swims underwater in his trademark red suit, will be back this year. There was also an underwater Christmas tree.

Chester County: A Very Retro Christmas at Longwood Gardens – Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Norristown’s Elmwood Park Zoo is filled with decorative displays and holiday lights that enhance the experience of seeing the animals there. There will also be live music, photos with Santa, a barrel train and merry-go-round for kids, and meet-and-greets with your favorite characters.

New Castle County: Christmas in Odessa – Odessa, Delaware
On December 2, 2023, take a walking tour of 18th and 19th century homes decorated for the holidays in Odessa, Delaware.
The event, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., includes a merry-go-round, Santa, Mrs. Claus and his elves, tea and cookies, and Christmas carols.
Then wait until the town tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

New Castle County: Noel of Nemours Estate – Wilmington, Delaware
The 77-room mansion at Wilmington’s Nemours Estate will be decorated for the holiday season with Christmas trees, lights and festive displays. These will also be installed in the driver’s garage and part of the garden. Live music is also performed at the mansion during the season.

The mansion is closed to the public on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. The first night is November 14th.

Northampton County: Christkindlmarkt – Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Starting next weekend, November 17th and ending December 17th, Christkindlmarkt will be hosting all kinds of fun activities, including gift shopping, Breakfast with St. Nicholas, exhibits, tree tours, and more.
It’s all happening at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
The ice rink next to Steel Stacks will also open on Friday, Nov. 17 and will include a concession stand.
Admission is free on Friday nights from 5pm to 8pm, courtesy of ArtsQuest. Tickets are required for all other nights. Please see the link for details on how to purchase.
Philadelphia: Kwanzaa at Please Touch Museum
On Friday, Dec. 29, Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum will celebrate Kwanzaa.
According to the museum’s website, there will be chef demonstrations and stories to highlight Africa’s tragic heritage.
Philadelphia: Hanukkah at the Betsy Ross House
A menorah lighting ceremony will be held on the first night of Hanukkah on December 8th at the Betsy Ross House on Arch Street in Philadelphia.
The Old City Jewish Arts Center is partnering with the House for this event. For the kids, there will also be latkes, jelly donuts, dreidels and menorahs.
Philadelphia: Winter Ice Skating – Dilworth Park
The Rothman Orthopedic Ice Rink, located in Dilworth Park, right next to City Hall, will open on Friday, November 10th.
Open seven days a week until the last weekend in February.

Philadelphia: Christmas Village – Love Park
It’s an annual tradition that makes Love Park even more beautiful this time of year. The park is turning into a holiday wonderland, with a merry-go-round, wooden cabin shops, and plenty of German-themed food and drinks like bratwurst, pretzels, and mulled wine.
Preview weekend is set for November 18th, with a full opening on November 26th, the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
