Change your next year with my favorite app.
As the year is coming to an end, I decided to share with you my favorite apps of the year. These are beautiful gems among the many apps that have made my digital life so much better this year.
Even if you’re like me, a lover of technology and digital tools in general, or if you’re feeling overwhelmed choosing the best apps, or even if you’re promised a lot. If you come across an app that doesn’t do much for you, try the following apps.
Artifact is an AI-powered personalized news feed app. This is a new and upcoming app that has already gained a lot of enthusiasts. I use it every day now. What I like about this app is its cool and time-saving feature where the AI summarizes articles for you. I think this feature is the main reason why this app is so popular. It also has social features such as comments, likes, and shares. There is also a space for the user to share her web links with other users on her Artifact.
I subscribe to many email newsletters, but now I receive so many emails in my inbox every day that I can’t read them all anymore. Some emails are no longer useful and clutter your inbox. There is not enough time to remove them. If you’re like me, this app will save you from email disaster. This app lets you delete, keep, and unsubscribe from emails using simple gestures (I don’t like apps that are hard to use, and this is not one of them). Delete all emails you receive from one email address with just one swipe gesture. You can also check your cleaning statistics in the app. In my case, I’ve deleted 15,103 emails and unsubscribed from 201 email newsletters in the past three months.
You were surprised, right? It’s all possible using Cleanfox.
When a new idea comes to mind, save it to Obsidian. This is an offline app that saves notes and plugins to your device’s storage. Oh yeah, there’s a plugin store to add features to your app, and they’re all free. It also uses the Markdown markup language, but it renders Markdown in real time as you type, which makes it look bad in text editors. There is also a button to use instead of Markdown. So don’t worry if you don’t like Markdown.
I can’t thank this app enough for saving me from countless grammar problems. This is one of the apps I use every time I write or type on my device. It corrects grammar and spelling mistakes and also detects the tone of what I’m writing. I like the new integration of AI into the app. AI can help me rephrase my writing or change the tone of my writing.
As a writer, I can confidently say that Grammarly is a very useful tool that helps me check and improve my writing.
Avast Cleanup takes care of all your junk, including useless files, blurry photos, app caches, empty folders, and more. You can use it to clean your device and free up storage space.
I browse a lot of websites and like a lot of them, but sometimes I need a copy of an entire website. Just paste your website link into this app and in just a few clicks, HTTrack will download the entire website and all the resources within it. This allows you to access your website offline. I mainly use it to download learning websites like W3Schools and MDN. If you have videos, images, or other types of documents you want to download along with your HTML files, you can specify them by extension.
As someone who values privacy and security, I have always trusted Avast to protect my devices from potential attacks. It has the ability to automatically scan your device for threats at a specified time every day. You can also use it to monitor your email accounts for compromise or hacking activity. It also has a useful feature that checks all the websites you visit on your browser for dangerous activities and threats and warns you to leave the website immediately.
Additionally, you can lock apps and protect your privacy with VPN features, but these features require you to upgrade to the Pro plan (includes daily automatic scans).
You’ve probably read or heard that you shouldn’t use the same password for all your accounts. So how can you remember all your passwords if you don’t need to use the same password for all your accounts?
If you use LastPass, you don’t have to. LastPass is a password manager for storing your passwords. But in addition to your passwords, you can also save addresses, contact information, payment cards, email accounts, and more in LastPass. However, I only use it to store passwords. The good thing about this app is that you only need to remember one password, called the master password. This password is used to unlock the app and access all saved passwords. There are also auto-fill and auto-login features.
