It’s that time of year again — That space is decorated before the long holidays and where seasonal events are held.
Now, one of those big events is about to begin in Boston. — Freedom Trail Historic Holiday Walk. Various other events are also held throughout the state.
Starting Saturday, Nov. 18, people can walk the Freedom Trail and learn how Boston’s holiday tradition began.
“The city’s festive atmosphere, set against the unique backdrop of Boston’s historic sites and centuries of history, makes this fun 90-minute tour a great way to celebrate the holidays,” the Boston-based Freedom Trail Foundation said in a press release. “It’s the perfect way to do that.” .
This tour features holiday lights and Christmas trees along the trail.
Tours run Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30pm until December 30th. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children.
“The Freedom Trail helps usher in the holiday season with our annual historic holiday walk,” said Suzanne Segura Taylor, executive director of the Freedom Trail Foundation. “We offer a glimpse into the unique holiday traditions that have come to pass,” he said in a prepared statement. . “This walk is one of the many activities he offers to experience Boston’s historic sites and trails year-round.”

Lynnfield Holiday Walk
This event will be held on Sunday, November 19th from noon to 3pm.
The event will begin at 600 Market St. and “feature food tastings, interactive holiday decorations, live entertainment and winter activities,” according to the event page. There will also be crafts for the kids, fun photo opportunities and ice skating opportunities.
A toy drive will also be held at the event. According to the event website, “We are partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wakefield and Stoneham to collect donations of new and unwrapped toys for the Holiday Toy Drive. may be dropped off during the walk…at the pad in front of Yard House and Temazcal from noon to 3 p.m.”
Participants will also have a chance to win a “Golden Ticket” while strolling. The event page states, “This year, lucky shoppers may find a Golden Ticket in their bag while shopping during holiday walk times. Each Golden Ticket contains 10 Includes a special gift card ranging from $250 to $250.

Salvage Angel Vintage Artisan Market
This Saturday and Sunday, the Salvage Angel Vintage Artisan Market will be in Norwood, bringing you a festive weekend filled with shopping and outdoor pop market magic. According to the event website, there will be plenty of free raffles to enter, food trucks, holiday music and more.
The Salvage Angel Vintage Artisan Market will be held at the Norwood Space Center, 83 Morse Street, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The pop-up market and food truck will be open both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking and admission are free.
Manchester-by-the-Sea holiday walks
The Manchester Holiday Walk will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. The event page states: “Stroll around town, enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many shops, and collect stamps for your Holiday Walk passbook. Please submit your completed passbook to the Antiques Table” to win one of three prizes by 8:15 p.m. You have a chance to win one: Cape Ann Gift Check for $200, $100, or $50. The town will host several holiday events from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, including a book fair, holiday open house, afternoon “Jingle Bell Walk,” photos with Santa, and a tree lighting ceremony.
Canal District Holiday Walk, Worcester
This is a day-long event taking place in Worcester’s Canal District on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am to 9pm.
The address is 138 Green St. The event will feature a “Self-Guided Walk Through the Canal District” with a tree lighting at 5 p.m.
Union Square Holiday Walk, Somerville
The event will be held in Union Square on Saturday, Dec. 2 from noon to 6 p.m.

Fall River Holiday Parade
This event will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 1pm.
The parade will proceed from Kennedy Park down South Main Street and end at the corner of Central and Bedford streets, according to the event’s website. High school bands from “all over New England,” as well as “bagpipe bands, drum corps, brass bands, giant parade balloons, fire and police stations, decorated floats… large vehicles, marching units, vehicles, bands and many costumed characters. .”
This is one of the state’s largest holiday parades, now in its 39th year.
