Regency on the Lake
The senior living facility will host a trunk-or-treat in the parking lot on Oct. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. Residents and staff of the facility will be handing out sweets. Plus, you can warm up with hot chocolate and cider at the event.
Regency on the Lake is located at 5669 Lakeshore Road in Fort Gratiot.
Capac Elementary School
The elementary school trunk-or-treat will be held near the bus loop on Oct. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. In addition to candy, the school’s parent teacher organization will hand out treats such as donuts and cider.
For those looking for a break from the cold air, Capac Elementary School will be hosting an on-campus Scholastic Book Fair. People can buy books if they wish.

Birchville Twp. Park
Lakeport Wesleyan Church will host a trunk-or-treat event at Birchville Township Park on Oct. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. In addition to candy collecting opportunities, families can participate in a pumpkin carving contest, play with inflatables, and have free fun. food.

halloween walk
Port Huron Parks and Recreation will hold its annual Halloween Stroll at Sanborn Park starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 28. Participants will enter the forest path in groups every 30 minutes, with the last group entering at 12:30 p.m.
Registration required. Residents who register by October 27th will receive a discounted rate of $8 per participant. Non-residents who register by October 27th will receive a discounted rate of $10 per participant. The registration fee on the day is $12 per trick-or-treater.

Residents of Birchville Township, Clyde Township, Fort Gratiot Township, and Port Huron Township will pay city resident rates in collaboration with the City of Port Huron and these townships.
Trick-or-treaters will receive treats from approximately 30 local businesses and organizations. Halloween inflatables and scenes, cider, donuts from Chef Shell’s Restaurant and Catering, and a petting zoo will also be available.
Algonac Trunk-or-Treat
The Algonac Lions Club will host a Trunk-or-Treat on October 28th from 5pm to 7pm. Participants who decorate their cars or golf carts will also have a chance to win $100 in donated cash.
Parking and setup begins at 3 p.m.
You can also take photos with special guest Vampirina, drink free donuts and cider, and listen to live music.
Griswold Street Baptist Trunk or Treat
The church will hold a trunk-or-treat on October 31st. Participants fill buckets of candy in the church parking lot and warm up with hot chocolate inside the gym. The gym will also have cotton candy, games, and prizes.
The event begins at 6pm and continues until 7:30pm or until all candy is gone.
