LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As the holiday season begins to spread around the world, we’ve compiled a list of numerous events and exhibits happening around the Las Vegas Valley.

For more than 20 years, Glittering Lights has illuminated the Las Vegas Valley’s holiday season. Glittering Lights, which opened on November 9th this year, is a 400m long course with over 5 million lights and his 2,000+ displays.
Glittering Lights is open from 4:30pm to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 4:30pm to 10pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. Ticket prices start at $39 per car or truck. New this year is an early bird special that gives you $10 off if you get in line before 6 p.m.

Green Valley Ranch Area Tree Lighting
The neighborhood, located at 2240 Village Walk Drive, will host its annual tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 18th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will feature live music by an electric string trio and a simulated snowfall at the end of each hour, free of charge.Cotton Candy, screening of “The Polar Express” at 7 p.m.
Guests can also meet the Sugar Plum Ballerina, the Nutcracker and Santa. The event will also feature the district’s first holiday toy drive for St. Jude Children’s Ranch. Guests can drop off toys at the Mix 94.1 booth during the event.
Ride the Boulder City Holiday Train
The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City will host family-friendly train rides with Santa during the holiday season starting after Thanksgiving. Themed activities take place on the Railroad Pass and round-trip departures back to Boulder City.
The Santa Train will run four times a day during the day on Saturday and Sunday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. Tickets are $10 per person and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. – Buy at the box office or purchase tickets.
The evening event, the Boulder City North Pole Express, will feature Christmas carols, cookies, hot chocolate, games, “snowball fights” and photos with Santa. North Pole Express fares range from $30 to $50 for adults and $25 to $45 for children.
The North Pole Express schedule begins Friday, Nov. 24 with three rides at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., followed by Saturday rides at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Trains run from time to time.and Sundays at 5:30 p.m.

Enchanted Christmas returns to Las Vegas Ballpark from November 24th to December 31st. Inside Enchantment, a “world of Christmas wonder” awaits guests, complete with the world’s largest Christmas light maze called Santa’s Magic Timepiece. To find the eight missing star pieces that make up Santa’s clock.
Guests can also explore the Christmas Village and enjoy seasonal foods and holiday gifts from dozens of local vendors. Santa and Claus will take photos for you. You can also rent skates and hit the ice skating trail.

Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade
The Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade is a free, “magical” event featuring lively holiday music, snow, dancers and Santa. The parade will take place along Park Center Drive every Friday and Saturday at 6pm from November 17th to December 16th.
Henderson Winterfest Celebration
Kick off your holidays with the City of Henderson’s annual Winterfest Tree Lighting and Parade and enjoy the winter cheer with the whole family. The celebration will be held in the Water Street District and Water Street Plaza. On Thursday, November 30th, there will be a tree light-up from 5pm and a drone show from 6:45pm.
On Friday, Dec. 1, there will be a Holiday Light Parade that includes a variety of seasonal entertainment and a spectacular display of Christmas decorations.Parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
Participation in both events is free.
Ethel M Chocolate Holiday Cactus Garden Light
Holiday Cactus Garden Lights are back at Ethel M Chocolates for their 30th year. Until Sunday, December 31st, the Cactus Garden Lights will be on from 5pm to 10pm.
This holiday experience takes guests on an “enchanting” walk through the holiday glow of a cactus garden. Guests can get hot chocolate and take photos with Santa.
Ethel M Chocolate will also be opening a brand new Garden Café offering dining options including baked goods and dip items.

Las Vegas Lake Chanukah Celebration
On Sunday, Dec. 10, Lake Las Vegas will host its first-ever Hanukkah celebration at The Village at Lake Las Vegas from 4 to 5 p.m. There will be a giant menorah lighting, a dancing dreidel show, donuts, latkes, music and more.
The event will be directed by Rabbi Yossi Shuchat of Chabad East Las Vegas.
Rockin’ Christmas at M Resort Spa Casino
M Resort Spa Casino is hosting a “Rockin’ Christmas” drive-thru animated light show opening Friday, November 17th. The experience will be his mile-long “symphony of sights and sounds” hosted by MC Mike. Millions of colorful LED lights and hundreds of moving displays.
The experience will run from 6pm to 10pm Tuesday through Sunday through December 31st and will be located in the southeast corner of M Resort. Tickets are on sale now and prices are per vehicle. Weekend and weekday admission starts at $39.99 (taxes and fees included).
Las Vegas Great Santa Run
The iconic Las Vegas Great Santa Run will be held on December 2nd at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center located at 200 South 3rd Street. Pre-race festivities hosted by Opportunity Village begin at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m. A runner can choose a 5km or a 1 mile race.
Entertainment for this year’s race includes Broadway and Las Vegas stars Travis Clore, Clint Holmes, Miss Nevada Taylor Blatchford, Laughternoon’s Adam London, Femmes of Rock, Steph Payne, DJ Jesse Estrada and more.
Registration fee is $45 and increases to $55 until November 29th. Registration includes a 5-piece Santa suit, finisher medal, and swag bag. The offer will end as soon as stock runs out. All proceeds from the event will benefit Opportunity Village and its mission.
Downtown Summerlin Rock Link
Rock Rink, presented by Live Nation, is back in downtown Summerlin. An 8,000 square foot ice skating rink is located near Pavilion at the Lawn. Rock Rink will be open for all ages until January 15, 2024.
Skate rentals start at $16 and tickets can be purchased on the Downtown Summerlin website. Due to rink capacity, skating time will be limited to 75 minutes per person.
Kalani Pear’s Hawaiian Christmas
Celebrate the holiday season with festive Hawaiian tunes by three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Kalani Pair on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Water Street Plaza Amphitheater.
The event will be held at 240 South Water Street, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Seating in the outdoor venue is general admission. No outside alcohol or coolers are allowed in the square or amphitheater. Tickets for the event are $15 per person and can be purchased online here.
Las Vegas City Holiday Lighting Celebration
Las Vegas 5th Ward Councilman Cedric Clare and Cox Communications invite area residents to participate in the second annual Holiday Lighting of Martin L. King Boulevard. The event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cox Communications parking lot, 1700 Vegas Drive.
The event will also feature holiday music, decorations, craft projects for kids and refreshments while supplies last.
Downtown Summerlin Santa Chalet
Santa Chalet, presented by Tri Pointe Homes, is located at Macy’s Promenade and will be open daily through December 24th. The Santa photo package is $42.99. Santa will be taking photos with pets on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m., Nov. 21 through Dec. 19, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 9.
At Santa’s Chalet, children can deliver letters to Santa. For every letter Summerlin receives, she donates $1 to her Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, which provides free shoes, socks and other essentials to children in need.
Jewish Nevada – Lighting the Menorah
Downtown Summerlin, in partnership with Jewish Nevada, will host a one-night-only Hanukkah celebration on Dec. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will include a menorah lighting, family skate night, entertainment, children’s activities and “hot cocoa.” Light bite. ”
Illuminium Winter Wonderland Spectacular
Illuminium Las Vegas’ newest show, Winter Wonderland Spectacular, opens on December 1st and runs through December 31st. Guests will be “transported to a winter wonderland” filled with state-of-the-art interactive technology and an “ever-changing dreamland,” including The Nutcracker, Jingle Bells, Candy Cane, and more. ”
Tickets for Illuminium Las Vegas’ Winter Wonderland Spectacular start at $25 for locals and $35 for non-locals and can be purchased online.
Heritage Holidays at Clark County Museum
The Clark County Museum will celebrate the holiday season with its annual free Heritage Holiday event on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Now in its 12th year, this event is the only opportunity to see the museum’s exhibits. A collection of houses lit up for the holidays. The festival includes holiday carols, craft tents, visits with Santa, hot chocolate, and more.
The museum is located at 1830 South Boulder Highway in Henderson. Starting November 24th, homes and buildings on Heritage Street will be decorated for the holidays.
City of North Las Vegas Holiday Lighting Celebration
The City of North Las Vegas holds its annual Holiday Tree Lighting event at Liberty Park in front of North Las Vegas City Hall. A lighting event will be held from 5 p.m.
This free event includes singers from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, community performances, and special guest visits.
Opportunity Village Magical Forest
The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village will return for the Christmas season on November 24th with a tree lighting ceremony. The tree lighting ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature local entertainment, including an appearance by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and a performance by singer Daniel Emmett.
Magical Forest includes unlimited rides, games along the way, mini golf, a Holiday Lights walking path, and a Forest Express ride. Guests can also meet Santa in his cabin and pick up holiday food favorites like hot chocolates. Enchanted Forest tickets can be purchased online.
