As the familiar aroma of Thanksgiving dinner fills the air on Thursday, Nov. 23, Southern California residents are treated to more than just delicious food. This weekend will feature a variety of entertainment events, making it the perfect opportunity to burn off those extra calories.

RL grime
Electronic music producer RL Grime will be on tour over Thanksgiving weekend, bringing fans the beats in support of his latest record, “Play,” which was released in September. Comedian and actor Frankie Quiñones, known for his role as Luis on Hulu’s “This Fool,” will provide some post-holiday comedic relief in Orange County. Steve Aoki
The Insomniac event will feature a special performance by DJ Steve Aoki, who will be controlling the decks for the night. Fans can expect to hear a variety of music genres on Aoki’s set, and some might even be lucky enough to get smashed by his signature sheet cake toss. Ramon Ayala

Following two sold-out shows at Inglewood’s Kia Forum in February, Mexican rockers Mana are back on the road for two more dates on the group’s Mexico Lindo y Quelido Tour. It’s here. Afro Friends Giving
At Afro Friendsgiving, participants take part in a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture. Throughout the night, a variety of DJs will be playing Afrobeats, dance and reggae music to get you in the Thanksgiving spirit. The event isn’t just about music, there will be Afro-Caribbean cuisine such as jerk chicken and Jollof rice plantains. We also offer a variety of drinks and cocktails.
